Civic Group to Visit NK Saturday

A humanitarian organization will visit North Korea for four days starting Saturday. The visit is the first for a civic group since the shooting death of a South Korean tourist at the Mount Geumgang resort in July.

The Korean Sharing Movement said 140 of its members have been invited by a North Korean peace council to attend a ceremony celebrating the completion of medical facilities.

The group added that they were hoping to bring reporters with them during their visit, but have yet to receive the relevant invitations from the North.
