S. Korean Group on 2nd Day of N.K. Visit

A large-scale South Korean civic delegation is on the second day of its North Korea visit.

Around 130 visitors who arrived in Pyongyang Saturday afternoon will attend a completion ceremony for a medical center in the North Korean capital Sunday, before touring Kim Chaek University of Technology and other educational institutions. They will also visit Mount Baekdu Monday.

The delegation from the (South) Korean Sharing Movement consists of religious and academic figures and includes reporters from eight South Korean news organizations covering North Korea for the first time since its leader Kim Jong-il's rumored illness.

Seven or eight other South Korean civic groups are also planning to visit the North later this month and the next.
