A team of culture and business representatives will travel through eleven Arab countries from October 17th to the 28th to promote Korean culture.

The Korea-Arab Society is organizing the event called "Korea-Arab Caravan" with support from the Foreign Ministry, the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism and the Korea International Trade Association.

The delegation will visit Algeria, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Morocco, Libya, Egypt, Kuwait, Tunisia, Oman, Palestine, and the United Arab Emirates (UAE).

The event will feature a Taekwondo demonstration, calligraphy exhibition and a B-boy performance. Trade and investment consultations will also be held.

A Foreign Ministry official said the event will promote the nation’s image in the Middle East and will contribute to the government’s energy and resource diplomacy.
