NK Permits Visit by 150 DP Lawmakers

North Korea has issued invitations to all 150 lawmakers of South Korea's main opposition Democratic Party planning to visit the North's Gaeseong Industrial Complex. The visit comes on the occasion of the first anniversary of the October 2007 inter-Korean declaration.

Unification Ministry spokesman Kim Ho-nyoun said the ministry has permitted the one-day visit, and the delegation will make its way to the Gaeseong complex via land on Thursday as scheduled.

The lawmakers, led by party chairman Chung Se-kyun, will visit companies in the complex and meet with employees.
