A survey finds that over 77 percent of South Koreans use the Internet.

The National Internet Development Agency conducted a survey of about 15-hundred people over three years of age in June and July. The number of Internet users increased by eight-tenths of a percentage point compared to the same period last year.

Moreover, almost 83 percent of the polled Internet users utilized electronic mail. Over half of them were members of online clubs. More than 58 percent used Internet blogs.

On average, the respondents used the Internet almost 14 hours a week.
