'NK Leader Moved to Pyongyang Hospital'

A U.S. government-funded broadcaster reported Thursday that North Korean leader Kim Jong-il has been moved to a hospital in Pyongyang, with all of his decision-making authority delegated to the Workers' Party of Korea and the military.

Radio Free Asia quoted a source in China who has returned from North Korea recently as saying that the party leadership and the military have differences in opinion about state policies.

The source also said the North Korean leader has been suffering from dementia for over a year, and that state agencies are increasingly anxious over Kim's continued absence from public view.
