Korean Dance Performance Advances to New York

The hit dance performance “Ballerina Who Loves B-boy” has opened in New York.

The show officially opened at Off-Broadway's 37 Arts on Wednesday.

In the non-verbal performance, the worlds of classical ballet and street dancing collide in a high-energy, gravity-defying display of technical skill. The Korean B-boy dance team Extreme Crew, champions of the 2007 Battle of the Year, is part of the act.

Ballerina Who Loves B-boy is one of the longest running acts to come out of Korea and was a hit at the 2007 Edinburgh Fringe Festival.

The production will run through December 21st.
