Tokyo University opens graduate course of Korean studies

Tokyo University will offer a graduate course of Korean studies covering both North and South Korea, starting this spring semester. The university will recruit 12 students for a two-year Master of Arts degree course and six students for a Ph.D. course two years later. It is the first university in Japan ever to launch a graduate course of Korean studies.
