North Korea's state media reported with photos Sunday that its supreme leader Kim Jong-il watched a military soccer game.
The North's Korean Central News Agency said the reclusive leader, who has been rumored to have suffered a stroke, watched two military teams named "Mankyongpong" and "Chaebi" on the final day of the 11th People's Sports Competition.
The report also released a photo of Kim watching the game, while another showed the game.
The agency said Kim was accompanied by Korean People's Army General Hyon Chol-hae, Ri Myong-su and Kim Myong-guk, along with the leader's brother-in-law Jang Song-taek, who heads the administrative department of the ruling Workers' Party.
Kim was addressed in the report as "general secretary of the Workers' Party of Korea, chairman of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea Defense Commission, and supreme commander of the Korean People's Army." The agency had failed to mention the title of supreme commander Oct. 4.
Fourteen photos of Kim watching the match were also shown, but none of them included the game or spectators.
