North Korea’s state-run news agency says North Korean leader Kim Jong-il has inspected two military units.

The Korean Central News Agency did not elaborate on the date and location of Kim’s visits.

According to the report, Kim inspected military training exercises of the 2200 unit and issued an outline of tasks aimed at further developing the unit’s combat capabilities.

The report said that while visiting the 534 unit, Kim stressed that the basic means to building an invincible military power is boosting combat training.

The report comes amid rumors that the reclusive leader suffered a stroke.
