South Korea will have a center dedicated to overseas Koreans. The Center for Overseas Koreans will act as a liaison between ethnic Korean businessmen overseas and domestic firms. The organization will also offer programs which will teach overseas Koreans the language, tradition and culture of their motherland. The Overseas Koreans Foundation, an affiliate of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade Ministry, has started a fund-raising campaign for the construction of the center. The central government will donate land along with three hundred-80 million U.S. dollars. Meanwhile, the foundation hopes to connect all major organizations of overseas Koreans through its website by the end of June.
