North Korean leader Kim Jong-il has reportedly made a series of public appearances.

The North’s official Korean Central News Agency (KCNA) reported Kim attended a musical performance accompanied by military officials.

The report said he congratulated the performers after the show.

On Wednesday, KCNA and Korean Central Television reported the leader visited two army units and released photographs of him with soldiers.
