NK Leader May Have Had 2nd Stroke

A Japanese broadcaster says that North Korean leader Kim Jong-il apparently suffered another stroke last month.

Japan’s TBS quoted a U.S. intelligence official as saying the North Korean leader had a second stroke late last month that caused problems in his left hand and leg and seemed to affect Kim's speech.

The alleged stroke coincided with a visit to the North by French neurosurgeon Francois-Xavier Roux who was reportedly in Pyongyang to treat the ailing Kim.
