North Korean leader Kim Jong-il is known to have attended an art festival given by soldiers.

The North’s official Korean Central News Agency said Saturday that he watched a performance by soldiers of the (North) Korean People’s Army, but failed to elaborate on the date and location.

Kim's appearance follows his watching of a musical performance ten days earlier.
