DLP Holds Forum in North Korea

Leaders of the Democratic Labor Party are on the fourth day of their visit to North Korea.

On Tuesday they held a forum with leaders of the North's Korean Social Democratic Party to discuss the roles their parties can play in improving inter-Korean relations.

Upon arrival in Pyongyang Sunday, DLP Chairman Kang Ki-kab said the implementation of inter-Korean agreements is the only way to restore South-North ties. He said his delegation’s visit to the North will boost political exchange and cooperation between the two Koreas.

This is the third visit Democratic Labor Party leadership has made to the North since 2005. They will return to Seoul Wednesday.
