Korea, Hungary to Boost Broadcast Exchanges

Korea and Hungary have agreed to boost broadcast exchanges as soon as possible.

With the agreement, the two countries will enhance cooperation and exchanges in digital convergence and broadcast content production.

Hungary in March aired the Korean historical drama “Jewel in the Palace,” which enjoyed high ratings of 30 percent there. The huge popularity led to the re-airing of the drama in September.

Hungary is the first European country to air "Jewel" on a public broadcaster.
