Tour programs to Gaeseong Tuesday went off without a hitch despite North Korea's sudden decision to halt the tours starting early next month.

The South Korean operator of Gaeseong tours, Hyundai Asan, said that 292 South Koreans crossed the border Tuesday for tours of the North Korean city.

Hyundai Asan will draw up plans for the halt of Gaeseong tours after detailed discussions with Pyongyang.
