NK Demands List of Workers to Withdraw from Gaeseong

North Korea has demanded the government submit a list of South Korean resident workers Seoul plans to pull out from the North’s Gaeseong Industrial Complex.

Unification Ministry spokesman Kim Ho-nyoun said the North told Seoul Monday to present Pyongyang with a list by 10 a.m. Tuesday of which Gaeseong workers will remain and which will be withdrawn.

The spokesman said the government is taking various measures in response to the North’s request.

Kim added that Seoul is still in negotiations with Pyongyang on the specifics of the staff reduction.
