Workers Continue to Withdraw from NK Complex

South Koreans are continuing to return from companies and support agencies operating at North Korea's Gaeseong Industrial Complex.

The North has demanded that only 880 South Koreans remain at the industrial park.

A Unification Ministry official in Seoul says most of the workers will return on Tuesday, but the pullout won't be complete until Wednesday.

South Korea had hoped 16- to 17-hundred workers could remain at the complex, but the North ordered all but 880 out of the South-North joint park.

The number includes 800 regular company staffers, 27 officials of the complex management committee, four from the South's Korea Land Corporation and 40 from Hyundai Asan which has operated tours to North Korea.
