Officials from North Korea’s National Defense Commission will make a two-day visit to the Gaeseong Industrial Complex.

Unification Ministry spokesman Kim Ho-nyoun told a news briefing that five commission officials arrived at the inter-Korean joint venture on Wednesday morning.

The North Korean delegates met the heads of South Korean companies operating at the complex early in the day. Afterwards, they will meet with officials of the industrial park’s management committee and visit 12 companies operating within the complex.

Pyongyang informed Seoul Tuesday night of the commission's intentions to visit Gaeseong.
