Large and small churches across the country celebrated the birth of Jesus Christ with Christmas services and events.

Cardinal Nicholas Cheong Jin-suk of the Seoul Metropolitan Archdiocese on Thursday led a Christmas Mass at the Myeongdong Cathedral.

During the mass, Cheong said that the true meaning of Christmas is to find Jesus Christ from unfortunate and isolated neighbors around us.

Events and concerts were held in various areas in Seoul to celebrate Christmas.
