S. Korea, China, Japan to Promote Cultural Exchanges

South Korea, China and Japan have agreed to promote cultural exchanges and boost cooperation in protecting North East Asian cultural heritages.

The agreement came in a statement issued by the culture ministers of the three nations who held discussions on Jeju Island Thursday.

In the statement, the three also agreed to strengthen human and logistics exchanges and promote cultural exchange programs.

The nations will also expand youth exchanges via the Internet and jointly work to protect intellectual properties.
