U.S. soldiers ordered to kill civilians in Korean War: BBC

The British Broadcasting Corporation said Friday it would air an investigative feature on the Korean War on Feb. 1st, which alleges American military commanders ordered the indiscriminate killing of civilians. The documentary program "Timewatch" will present the feature, "Kill Them All: American War Crimes in Korea," containing the recollections of survivors of alleged war crimes and testimony from soldiers who say they were merely following orders. The BBC says the program suggests the Nogun-ri incident was "just the tip of the iceberg." The BBC program contradicts the findings of a 15-month Pentagon probe, the results of which were published in January last year. The British network said, however, that Pete McCloskey, a former member of the Pentagon's advisory panel, believes the U.S. has staged a cover up of what happened at Nogun-ri.
