Aid Groups to Continue NK Projects

North Korea aid groups in South Korea will continue working on projects for the North while inter-Korean authorities are expected to continue dealing with strained ties this year.

The Korean Sharing Movement says it will carry out aid projects in agriculture, livestock and health care this year. It says it agreed with Pyongyang on trial projects on solar and other renewable energy and modernizing North Korean education.

The movement will seek to visit North Korea around January 21st to discuss project details.

The Korea NGO Council for Cooperation with North Korea, which comprises 58 North Korea aid groups, will hold an annual general assembly on the 20th after drafting plans for this year by respective groups.
