NK Leader's Son Says Father is Healthy

North Korean leader Kim Jong-il’s eldest son says his father is in good health.

Japan’s Asahi TV quoted Kim Jong-nam as telling reporters in a Beijing airport on Tuesday that his father is healthy.

The junior Kim also reiterated his Saturday remarks that he is not interested in succeeding his father.

The 37-year-old Kim answered reporters’ questions in English before boarding a plane to Macao.

South Korean and U.S. officials said Kim Jong-il suffered a stroke in August.
