Famed South Korean poet Ko Un is found to have had more works translated and published abroad than any other domestic writer.

According to the Korea Literature Translation Institute, 51 of Ko's literary works - including his epic “Maninbo"(Genealogy of us All) - have been translated into 15 different languages including English, German and Spanish.

Writer Lee Mun-yeol came in second, having published 50 pieces of work in 16 languages.
