Abductees Against Leaflet Distribution

A civic group, composed of abductees who were taken by North Korea and returned to the South, says it is against North Korean defector groups and families of abductees sending anti-communist leaflets to the communist state.

The group said in a press release that sending leaflets containing the North's currency will only incite the communist state, possibly leading to a military clash on the seas.

The Abductees Family Union and Fighters for a Free North Korea said they plan to send 200-thousand leaflets containing North Korean five-thousand won bills to the communist state on Monday, Kim Jong-il’s birthday.
