The military will establish a strategy control office to monitor and intercept North Korea’s missile program.

A Seoul military source said the office will be built by 2012 for 300 billion won.

The office will keep an eye on North Korean missile facilities around the clock, evaluate missile threats across the border, and intercept missiles fired by Pyongyang.

An early warning radar will also detect the directions of fired missiles and transmit the information to the office.
