Korean-American donates land for Korean War memorial

A Korean-American has donated land in Los Angeles to be used for construction of a Korean War monument.
The two-hundred-20 thousand pyong of land was donated by the man only identified by his last name Paek. One pyong equals three point three square meters. A group representing Korean-American veterans of the Korean War in Los Angeles said a cemetery for veterans of the Korean War and the Vietnam War will also be built there.
