A church organization says churches from the two Koreas will hold a joint prayer service in Pyongyang.

The National Council of Churches in South Korea said on Wednesday that it has agreed with the North's Korean Christian Federation to hold a joint prayer service in late June or July.

The two organizations plan to pray for the implementation of the 2000 inter-Korean summit agreement and peaceful reunification of the two Koreas.

The two sides also agreed to arrange a direct flight over the West Sea for the visiting South Korean delegation.
