S. Korea, Japan to Promote Bilateral Tourism

South Korea and Japan have agreed to work together to promote bilateral tourism.

Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism Yu In-chon and his Japanese counterpart Kazuyoshi Kaneko met for talks in Japan Thursday, which were followed by an issuance of a joint statement of cooperation.

The two officials agreed to exert efforts to promote regional tourism while strengthening cultural and sports exchanges between Korea and Japan.

In particular, the two agreed to pursue various projects, including training programs, to expand youth exchanges.
