Bosworth: US Wants Dialogue with N. Korea

Special U.S. envoy to North Korea Stephen Bosworth says Washington wants dialogue with Pyongyang.

Bosworth made the statement to reporters after arriving in Seoul late Saturday from Tokyo.

He said he has no plans to visit the North at this time, though the U.S. wants to reach out.

On if Washington will seek talks with Pyongyang even if it launches a missile, Bosworth merely responded that the matter is very complicated.

He stressed that the U.S. has repeatedly made clear that a North Korean satellite or missile launch is undesirable.

Bosworth is visiting South Korea on the third-leg of his Northeast Asia trip that also took him to China and Japan.
