North Korea says it is preparing to put on trial two American journalists who were detained at the North's border with China two weeks ago.

The North’s state-run Korean Central News Agency said Tuesday that the illegal entry of U.S. reporters into the North and their “hostile acts” have been confirmed by evidence and their statements.

It has yet to be determined whether the "hostile acts" the North says it has confirmed refer to espionage.

Laura Ling and Euna Kim, reporters for the online media outlet Current TV, were detained on March 17th near the Chinese-North Korean border while reporting on North Korean women who fled to China.
