Manchester United midfielder Park Ji-sung has been voted “Player of the Month” for March.

In an online poll on the team’s Web site, Park garnered 38 percent of some 16-thousand votes to come out on top. Wayne Rooney received 23 percent to come in second.

Included among the candidates were Ryan Giggs, Carlos Tevez and John O'Shea.

Due to Park winning the Web site’s Player of the Month, he will be included among the candidates for the Manchester United Player of the Year award.
