An association of South Korean firms operating at North Korea’s Gaeseong Industrial Complex says all production lines are operating normally.

The head of the association, Moon Chang-sup, made the announcement Thursday in Seoul, saying that in the past two days, he visited over 100 South Korean companies operating in the park and found no cases of firms planning to pull out of the complex due to inconveniences resulting from heightened tensions between the two Koreas.

Moon said South Korean businesses are still hopeful of the future of the industrial complex, adding that at least 20 additional firms have expressed hope to start operating in the industrial park.
