Churches across the nation have celebrated Easter with diverse services and events.

The Catholic community held Easter Mass at some 16-hundred churches nationwide Sunday. In Seoul, an Easter festival was held for foreign workers where Mass was held in foreign languages including Vietnamese and Filipino.

The National Council of Churches in Korea and the Christian Council of Korea held a joint Easter Mass in front of Seoul City Hall and sent a message of hope to those hit hard by the financial crisis.
