North Korea has developed a mobile version of a government Web site which can be accessed on mobile phones.

The North Korean government announced on Thursday that a Web site run by its National Reconciliation Council has launched a mobile version of its site, which will allow users to access major news from the Korean Central News Agency (KCNA) and other content.

Details were not disclosed regarding how to use the mobile site or which mobile phones will have access.

North Korea blocks all Internet access from outside its country except for selective information provided through intranets set up in the nation's schools and institutions.
