North Korea launched another short-range missile into the East Sea on Friday in addition to the five it already launched earlier in the week.

A senior official at the presidential office said the North appears to have launched a missile from a site near Musudan-ri, North Hamgyeong Province, at around 6:10 p.m. on Friday.

The communist state launched two missiles on Monday and three missiles on Tuesday.
