A series of celebrations have reportedly been held across North Korea to mark its second test of a nuclear device on May 25th.

North Korean media, including state-run Korean Central Broadcasting Station, said Tuesday that such public rallies were held in 20 counties and cities.

The first one took place in Pyongyang on the 26th and others followed in South Pyeongan, Jagang and Hwanghae provinces on the 30th.

North Korea held similar celebrations following its first nuclear test in October 2006.
