Dassault Aviation of France has suspended ties with a commercial agent implicated in a money-for-favours scandal during the final stages of bidding for a new fighter jet deal. Dassault's Rafale and the latest version of Boeing F-15 are leading the four-way contest to supply Seoul with 40 fighter aircraft. A successful bidder for the four billion dollar project is to be selected in the coming weeks. Also competing are the Typhoon from Eurofighter ... an industrial consortium from Britain, Germany, Italy and Spain and Russia's Sukhoi Su-35. Dassault has denied any connection to the money-for-favours scandal.
