South Korean broadcaster EBS will air a British Broadcasting Corporation (BBC) documentary on an alleged U.S. massacre of civilians during the Korean War. EBS officials said Saturday the documentary, entitled "Kill 'em All: American War Crimes in Korea," will be aired at 10 p.m. March 27. The documentary caused controversy when it was shown Feb. 1 on the BBC program "Timewatch." The program garnered testimony from survivors and soldiers from the incident. One of the soldiers alleges he heard an officer telling subordinates to "fire on everything, kill 'em all." Many South Koreans believe American commanders ordered the indiscriminate killing of Korean civilians at a small farming village of Nogeun-ri at the onset of 1950-1953 Korean War. The Pentagon conducted a 15-month probe and concluded that Korean civilians were gunned down but that the killings were not ordered by officers.
