A government official said Tuesday a Chinese cultural center will be set up in Seoul soon to mark the 10th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Seoul and Beijing. The two countries have held a series of working-level discussions since Beijing requested in 2000 that such a center be set up when Chen Chinese Premier Zhu Rongji visited Seoul. China has reportedly started work on the center in a building located in downtown Seoul.
