Korean Dancers Win Silver at Moscow Ballet Competition

A pair of South Korean dancers has won a silver medal at the eleventh Moscow International Ballet Competition.

Korea National Ballet said Friday that Kim Ri-hoe and Lee Dong-hoon snatched a silver with their duet at one of the world's most prestigious ballet competitions held at Moscow's Bolshoi Theater.

A silver medal is the third and most prestigious medal captured by South Koreans since 1997, when ballerino Kim Yong-gul garnered a bronze.

The Moscow International Ballet Competition is a prestigious event that has been held every four years since 1969.
