The World Cup situation room has kicked off operation after an opening ceremony at the Ministry of Culture and Tourism. The situation room will check preparations in 38 areas for the World Cup being made by the World Cup Organizing Committee, relevant government agencies and ten host cities and help address problems. The office will also get publicity for the on-going preparations. The office will stay open around the clock for two months beginning in May.
