KBS Documentary Wins Top Award

The KBS documentary "Noodle Road" will be awarded the grand prize at the 36th Korea Broadcasting Awards hosted by the Korean Broadcasters Association on September third, which is Broadcasting Day.

The association released its list Tuesday of 28 TV programs that will be given awards.

The KBS Consumer Expose episode on asbestos discovered in baby powder products was recognized as the best news report. MBC's nature documentary "The Tear of the North Pole" received the award for top documentary. The SBS drama series "Painter of the Wind" and KBS Daejon's local documentary "Homo Oilicus" were also awarded prizes.

The “Noodle Road” documentary links the mysteries of exchanges between ancient western and eastern civilizations with the history of noodle dishes across the world.
