Univ. Students to Help Counsel Multiracial Children

The government will launch a program where college students and parents of multicultural families will help children of international families.

The Ministry of Education, Science and Technology said Tuesday that under the program, some 25-hundred college students will provide after-school counseling and assistance in the Korean language and education to children of multicultural families.

Also in line with the program, parents of multicultural families will take on the role of teachers and help children of such families with language and translation.
