The government will soon begin accepting applications for the Young Talent Award, given to the nation’s most gifted high school and college students.

The Ministry of Education, Science and Technology, and the Korea Foundation for the Advancement of Science and Creativity will receive candidacy registrations from August 17th to September tenth. One-hundred winners will be selected among the candidates.

Each winner will be given a three-million-won scholarship as a prize. They will also have the opportunity to meet foreign and domestic leaders in academia as well as former winners of the award.
