Soccer sources said Thursday FIFA is expected to release the final squad lists of the teams competing in this year's World Cup on May 24th. Though the lists of players taking part must be submitted by national soccer associations by May 21st, 10 days before the opening match kicks off, FIFA will need time to verify the 2the 23 names submitted from each of the 32 finalist countries. An official for the Korea Football Association said the delay might be due to administrative processing such as making preparations to issue identification cards.
