No Move by NK to Normalize Border Passage

North Korea has yet to normalize cross-border passage with South Korea despite a vow made Monday to do so.

In a briefing Tuesday, the Unification Ministry said North Korea has yet to make any moves that might suggest they will lift the restrictions.

The ministry said access to the joint Gaeseong Industrial Complex has continued just as it has since the North unilaterally declared the restrictions early last December.

Currently, South Koreans visiting the complex can only enter the North during three set times in the morning and return home during three set times in the afternoon.
