Inter-Korean Red Cross Meeting to Open Wed.

The two Koreas will hold a meeting between their Red Cross societies to discuss setting up inter-Korean family reunions for the Chuseok holidays in October.

The Unification Ministry said Pyongyang accepted a proposal Tuesday for the meeting South Korea extended to the North last week.

The meetings between the Red Cross societies of the two Koreas will open on Wednesday for three days at the North’s Geumgang Mountain.

The government will randomly select candidates for the reunions through a computer lot-drawing system among the 87-thousand-500 separated families in South Korea.
